At Birmingham Primary School, we are committed to providing our students with a comprehensive and engaging Numeracy Program designed to equip them with essential mathematical skills and foster a deep understanding of the world around them.

Our approach encompasses both the “WHAT” of mathematics, represented by the curriculum, and the “HOW” of learning, characterised by the 5 Proficiencies: Understanding, Fluency, Problem Solving, Reasoning and Learning Dispositions.

We empower our students to apply their mathematical knowledge across all strands of Mathematics. Through open ended problems and differentiated lessons, we foster not just mathematical learning but a lifelong appreciation for its real-world applications.
