Keeping our students safe online
At Birmingham Primary School, we are committed to equipping students with the skills and knowledge to navigate the digital world. As an eSmart school, our students are supported to use digital technologies safely, respectfully, and responsibly. The eSmart Schools program empowers students to be positive digital citizens through curriculum-aligned digital and media literacy activities.
The eSafety Commissioner website provides advice for families to help kids stay safe online. They offer regular live webinars giving parents and carers the knowledge, skills and tools to support their children to have safe online experiences. The following resource is a helpful guide covering a range of topics including using parental controls and safe search options, cyberbullying and online gaming.
